This issue has been resolved. The problem with our external service provider has been fixed, error rates have returned to zero, and image uploads and display are operating normally again across all regions. Thank you for your patience.

Monitoring
We experienced intermittent errors affecting image uploads and display across the platform, including profile pictures and the image/media library in settings and the career site editor. Affected requests returned a temporary error (HTTP 503). The issue was caused by a problem with one of our external service providers, who we have contacted. Error rates have dropped significantly since the peak earlier today and the service is recovering. We are continuing to monitor closely to confirm full recovery.
